The road of self-discovery will always
evolve around three aged-old questions:
Who am I?, Why am I here? and What is
life all about? These questions lurk in
every individual who desires to
understand their reason for existing,
but in order to understand the reason
for existence you must understand what
“purpose” is.
There are many definitions of
“purpose” but I would like
to focus on two. Minister and Author
Myles Munroe define
“purpose” as “the
original intent in the mind of the
creator that motivates him to create a
particular item.” The Holy Spirit
defined “purpose” to me as
“creative design by the
designer.”
Therefore, we recognize that God is a
God of Purpose. God is the creative
source of purpose and by being the
source he has designed it in that
creation will always precede purpose.
Psalm 139:13-16- This passage of
scripture is the “Divine Creative
Blueprint” of God. Each one of us
has our own individualized blueprint.
We came through the same creative
process but the finishing product is
different because we are all
unique.
Genesis
1:26-27- states that God made man in
His own image, in His own likeness.
When God creatively designed you and I,
He not only embodied us with himself,
but also with His divine team- God the
Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As this
divine team embodied themselves within
us we received the following:
1. Purpose- What you were born to do.
2. Potential- The ability to accomplish
the purpose (gifts, talents).
3. Vision- The ability to see- a plan
of action (setting goals).
These three principles can never be
fully accomplished without a total
commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ,
for outside of Him your purpose will
never reach its full potential or bring
that personal satisfaction that one
desires.
Today seek to find your place, be
yourself, and enjoy your life!!!
(Jeremiah 29:11)
