What We Believe
-
What We Believe I
- We believe, the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. As such, it is the standard of faith and the rule of conduct and the final authority in all matters of life. (2 Timothy 3:16)
-
What We Believe II
- We believe, that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
-
What We Believe III
- We believe, in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and redeeming death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1, 14: Matthew 1:18-23; Luke 1:26-35; 1Timothy 2:5; I Peter 2:24; Hebrews 9:11-14)
-
What We Believe IV
- We believe, that for people to be delivered from their sins and to come into right relationship with God, a person must repent of their sins, turn back to God through faith in Jesus Christ and be inwardly transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 59:1-2; Acts 2:28; 4:12; 16:31; Romans 10:9-13; Titus 3:3-7: 1John 1:9)
-
What We Believe V
- We believe, in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; that the Holy Spirit is at work today within the Church, which is made up all true believers through His gifts, fruits and anointed ministers. (Romans 12:6-8; 1Corinthians 12:1-11; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 4:11; I Corinthians 12:27-28)
-
What We Believe VI
- We believe, in the full function of the five-fold ministry, which was given to perfect and equip the saints so they can enter into the work of their ministry, thereby edifying the whole Body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-16; I Corinthians 12:28)
-
What We Believe VII
- We believe, in the present day ministries of the apostles and prophets, which Christ has set in the Church as foundational, governmental and revelational ministries. We believe these two ministries are being restored to function in full power and authority in the Church before the literal second coming of Christ. (Ephesians 2:20; Acts 3:21)
-
What We Believe VIII
- We believe, in the resurrection of both the believer and the non-believer: those who are believers to the resurrection of life, and those who are non-believers to the resurrection of condemnation. (John 5:24-29; Revelation 20:11-15)
